Ashford Decorative and Fine Arts Society (ADFAS) was started in 1984 to provide those who live in and around Ashford, the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the Arts. We achieve this by providing a programme of excellent illustrated lectures - given by professionals in their fields, organising an annual study day on a specific topic and by arranging visits to museums, galleries, country houses and other places of cultural interest.
Volunteers from the society offer their services to the local community by recording local churches for posterity and actively encourage the young generation to develop an interest in the arts.
Lecture meetings take place every third Tuesday of the month, (except July and August) at 10:30 am for coffee. Visits and Special Interest/Study Days are also arranged
